Sumski didn't have the master cd with them after all. So exit: "getting one step closer blah blah blah"... We won second prize of the bandbattle in De Melkweg, and had a very good time both there and the next day in Nijmegen. Next up: two days with Makazoruki.

24-3-03

We're happy to have reached the finals of the AMP Band Battle, to be seen in De Melkweg this saturday. Then sunday, we will hopefully get a mastered copy of the new album - Sumski is bringing it to us from Zagreb. It was sent to us by mail weeks ago already, but people at the border opened the envelope to check out the inside. Doing so, they fucked up the adress, thanks! Anyway, we wil be one step closer to releasing the album.
Also confirmed, Gone Bald on Queensday. It would be wrong to call it a Queensday party though- it's the fifteen-year anniversary of Ravage magazine! So, orange hats forbidden I suppose. (more info)
Other news: We will be heading towards Zagreb in May, to play on a festival in memory of Bara from Earwing Records. The line-up is mouth-watering - a.o., Peach Pit, Bambi Molesters, Ha Det Bra, Sumski, Lunar and Analena! Gone Bald will be playing the first day of the two-day event. Razor is working on some other gigs to play in the area.

18-2-03

We have returned from our minitour / recordingsession in Zagreb. We had a good time both on stage and in the Kozmo-studio. We recorded an album that is being mastered now. It will be released as soon as possible on Interstellar Records. New in the "extra"-section: The tour-report Marc wrote.

8-1-03

New on the site: Gigreports by Manic Marc, and the Kunstgebit-playlists for 2003 (both to be found in the section extra). Plus, some new shows confirmed.

New show confirmed.

After a (probably inevitable) period of delay, the playlists for Lord Razor's radioshow Kunstgebit are updated again. Check out what tunes da selecta spun for the masses, yo. Read playlists.

3-12-02

We have two confirmed shows in Austria, in January. After these shows, we'll drive to Zagreb, where we're going to record the new album.

15-11-02

Check out some photo's of our recent shows in the image-section. Other good news: Interstellar Records put one of our new songs online on their site. We don't have the webspace for that at the moment, so go there to check it out.

14-10-02

October 3rd, Razorblade Jr did a solo performance to spice up the debate about Radio 100 in De Balie. Here's the flyer.

11-10-02

The date for the OCCII gig has changed - We're proud to play at the 10 year anniversary party of OCCII, saturday the 9th of November. Besides us and Makazoruki, Daikaiju (usa) will play. Check out the updated flyer.

This week in his Radio 100 show Kunstgebit, Razorblade had a live interview over the telephone with Ted Milton of Blurt. Next week, Dixonn is going to host the show, since Razorblade is on euro-tour with Reizende Verkoper.

9-10-02

The demo cd's are done. They contain 6 songs and look like this. We'll present them on some freshly confirmed gigs. Check out the shows section for dates.

25-9-02

Added to the site: 8 reviews on the 1997 album "Little Song Of Love". You'll find them in the section extra. Tomorrow, the first cd's will be burned containing four-track recordings of some of our new songs. You could call it a demo.

8-8-02

As you might know, Razorblade Jr hosts his own radioshow on Radio 100 every wednesday. From now on, to be found in the section extra, are his weekly playlists.

6-8-02

Check out this cool picture - it's Gone Bald! Playing in Zaandam!

And what about this - here's the very first bandphoto in our new line-up.

30-7-02

For those of you who've noticed: The audio on this site didn't work yet - but it does work now.

27-7-02

New on the site: the section "extra". First item is an article by Marc on his history with Gone Bald. Also added: a lot of photo's, from the early days of Gone Bald up until a show last may. Check them out in the "image" section.

12-7-02

After the last tour of Gone Bald, in may 2002, Bitz (bass) and Igor (drums) no longer play in Gone Bald. Shortly (thank god) after that, new forces are found. Manik Marc (drums) and Dixonn (bass) join Razorblade Jr. on his everlasting quest for a holy noble noise revolution.

Dixonn is bassplayer in SGP since 1996. The last three years, SGP shared the stage with Gone Bald regularly. Currently, Dixonn is also involved in the band Gloat, initiated by Larz (Psychon Troopers) and Gabry (SGP).

Manik Marc currently plays in Plastered (drums) and Scanimal (vocals). In the past, he was a member of the Blisters.

While Gone Bald is preparing the next cd and concerts, here's a new site for you, with a new url: www.gonebald.tk. Be sure to check out the "about" section, where you'll find an interesting Gone Bald-history lesson.
